Research of Transcarpathian Forests
We connected students and scientists from Mendel University in Brno with colleagues from three Ukrainian universities to study vegetation for mitigating climate change in the forests of Transcarpathian Ukraine.
Mayors, journalists, NGO representatives, associations, and companies: a diverse group of over 250 people who have completed our program since 2023. They now form a collaborative network, share experiences, and develop projects for their regions. Support their efforts.
Read firsthand experiences from those who have participated in our internships.
"The internship was extremely beneficial for me. The programme brings together strong organisations with innovative approaches, collaborative formats, and valuable experience. I am confident that Ukraine will also gain new opportunities for sustainable development and recovery."
"Most valuable in our fellowship was the opportunity to explore functioning projects and talk to people behind them. Their practical experience helps understand nuances of implementation of such projects. It is also wonderful to spend a week with people thinking along the same line, and start planning together follow-up activities back in Ukraine."
"It was a great idea to transfer experience which Czechs gained in the nineties and during the EU accession process. Thus making it easier for us, Ukrainians to become a EU member. Today we fight for Europe with guns in hands, and you teach us how to become Europeans"
Thanks to cooperation with Czech companies and institutions, specific projects are launching in Ukraine. Check out some of them.
